Professional MBA Program – Students pursuing the PMBA degree program are required to complete the prerequisites OPRE 6303 Quantitative Foundations of Business and MAS 6105 Communications for Management.
For OPRE 6303, applicants may request a waiver if they have completed calculus at the undergraduate or graduate level with a grade of “B” or better. For MAS 6105, applicants may request a waiver through the forms page of the advising website. The waiver can be obtained by showing proficiency in writing, speaking and creating an effective LinkedIn profile. The OPRE 6303 requirement must be satisfied within the first semester of graduate study, and the MAS 6105 requirement must be satisfied within the first two semesters of study. Degree credit is not earned for program prerequisites; however, the grade achieved in prerequisites taken at UT Dallas will count toward the student’s grade-point average (GPA).
The Full-Time MBA program and Executive MBA programs do not require any prerequisites.
