The UT Dallas full-time MBA program has been one of the most challenging and most rewarding experiences of my life. This program has pushed me to learn more than I ever thought possible and has helped me to polish my professional skills in every area. The professors and MBA program staff at UT Dallas are incredibly supportive and are focused on helping you become the very best version of yourself. The smaller class sizes of the UTD MBA program allows the staff members know you individually and to learn about you on a more personal level. The program staff is fun, engaging, and are always willing to go above and beyond to help every student in the cohort.
This program has pushed me to learn more than I ever thought possible and has helped me to polish my professional skills in every area.
In my first semester, I was a bit overwhelmed with balancing the program workload and making time for my husband and extended family. It felt so good to go into the MBA programs office and express my concerns to one of the staff members! They were very understanding and helped me establish a game plan for balancing my time more efficiently. From my experience, it is most beneficial to make a plan for study time and to create weekly checklists to help balance time at home with time in the classroom. It has been especially helpful to plan out family time at least a week in advance. I’ve also made a habit of spending at least an hour or two of uninterrupted time with my husband in the evenings. Be intentional about the time you plan so that you make time for what matters in your life!
I must also mention how great the students are in this program! I love working with students from different professions and all walks of life through this cohort. The full-time cohort is unique with students joining from many different countries and with vastly different work experiences. This beautiful blend of cultures and work experience make for lively classroom discussions, and unique perspectives on case-studies and projects. The connections that are formed in this program extend far beyond professional relationships. I have formed so many valuable friendships with my fellow students which are sure to last far beyond our time in the program!
