In-person Information sessions are scheduled in the evenings on Tuesday or Thursday nights. Virtual information sessions are scheduled at various times throughout the year.

Vivek Shrimali, Class of 2021
Vivek is originally from India. He graduated from VIT University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. After graduation, he worked at Suzuki Motors in product management and supply chain roles for 5 years. He has been instrumental in his contribution to the development of vehicles Swift, Ignis, and S-Presso for Suzuki.

Rupal Mehta, Class of 2020
Rupal graduated from University of Houston in 2016 with a B.A. in Public Relations and was an active radio DJ and concert photographer for the university’s radio station during her time there. She was responsible for creating Uber Eats’ first-ever college brand ambassador program, which piloted in Houston and Austin.

She is very excited to be pursuing her MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas and hopes to apply her psychology research experience to marketing analytics and consumer insights.

Kunal Dialani, Class of 2021
My name is Kunal Dialani. I’m an Indian born and brought up in Dubai. My passion in electronics drove me to do Bachelor’s in electrical engineering five years ago from an American university. I developed technical skills from the University which I could use in my family business to handle the transition of our record-keeping system from the old-fashioned, manual, hand-written ledgers to ERP solutions. Being in a family business, I could wear several hats and gain experience in diverse roles from sales engineer to sales manager to supply chain manager. I’m currently pursuing MBA with concentration in Supply Chain Management where I hope to further enhance my managerial skills and develop a holistic understanding of a large-scale business enterprise.

Elijah Emert, Class of 2021
Elijah graduated from UT Dallas in 2019 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and began his MBA journey a year later. He decided to pursue an MBA because after years of focus on STEM career options he wanted to both learn about opportunities in business and develop the skills to pursue those new opportunities.

Ian Clarkson, Class of 2021
Ian is a home-grown Dallas native and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A in finance and a minor in archaeology in 2019. Post-graduation, Ian worked as a bond analyst in Austin, Texas before coming to UTD. Currently, Ian is studying at UTD to enter the business analytics field.

Tosin Fayinminu, Class of 2020
Tosin is originally from Nigeria and moved to the United States in 2012. In 2016, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a Corporate Communications minor from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. After her BA degree, Tosin went to work with Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Kunal Arora, Class of 2021
Engineer by profession, Kunal is a Military Veteran from India. Having been handpicked for numerous diplomatic missions and worked for Nation’s maiden classified underwater platforms, Kunal has always strived to attain mission accomplishments within time and budget constraints. After a satiating career of 10 years, Kunal felt the need to upgrade his skillset and to be relevant. So, here at UTD, he intends to enhance his global stature and to be relevant.

Allison Potter earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2005.She explored a variety of industries in her professional career from commercial real estate to medical education to aptitude testing .

Gottfreid Lutumba, Class of 2020
Gottfreid was born in Angola and has lived in 3 different continents throughout his life. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Norman with bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology in 2019, where he engaged in a multitude of University activities, both social and academic, from working as a Homecoming chair for two consecutive years to doing over a year of research in new drug discovery and prodrug cancer treatments.

Shruti Hundet, Class of 2020
Shruti graduated from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya University back in 2012 with a B.E. in Computer Science (Honors). After her graduation, she worked in the Tech industry for almost 7 years with major brands such as Principal Financial Group, Capgemini, HSBC and Barclays wearing many hats of a Business Analyst, Product Owner and Delivery Manager.

Ben graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. During his time there, he also led a multi-campus expansion effort for an iPhone repair startup. He has 5 years of work experience in oil and gas software consulting.

Rafael Perez, Class of 2021
Rafael grew up in Miami, FL and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. Rafael joined the United States Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer where he was stationed on a nuclear-powered fast attack Submarine in Pearl Harbor, HI. After nearly 9 years in the Navy he decided to pivot his career by pursuing his MBA and beginning a consulting career.

Charles Huff, Class of 2021
Charles graduated from the University of North Texas in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. After graduation, he worked in medical research at the UT Southwestern Medical Center for two years. Charles is currently pursuing his MBA to launch a new career in finance.

Jessica Thompson, Class of 2020
Jessica graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in 2018 with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies while serving in the United States Air Force. During her time in the Air Force, Jessica held several roles including airborne language analyst, unit security manager, intelligence analysis supervisor, and mission management supervisor.

Sangjin Lee, Class of 2020
Sangjin is originally from South Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University with mechanical engineering and technology management in 2010. After graduation, he worked for international companies in South Korea as a strategist and business analyst to implement strategies and launch new products within various industries such as credit card, construction, fashion, and retail business.

Jason Armstrong, Class of 2021
Jason grew up in the DFW area and served four years in the United States Navy before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas Christian University. He is now pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management.

Originally from India, Karan earned his bachelor’s degree in IT in 2010, following which he went on to work with Accenture for 9 years, the first five in India and the rest in the US. He has loved every bit of his work supporting Fortune 500 companies in the banking and healthcare sectors in their digital transformation journeys spanning from mainframe and windows-based applications to web-based platforms and finally to mobile.

Michael Cheney, Class of 2021
Michael currently works on the Finance and Business Management Team for JP Morgan’s Commercial Bank. Before beginning his career at JP Morgan, Michael was an Army Captain, serving in the 7th US Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, Texas.
