An Iranian-American citizen, Amir initially moved to the U.S. to pursue academic goals. He received an Honor Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture (Magna cum Laude) and a Master of Architecture both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Amir is a registered architect, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board, and a member of the America Institute of Architects. He has been working as a designer, a project architect, a project manager, and a construction administrator for over a decade in a very fast-paced, multifaceted, and extremely demanding cross-industry profession. Currently, he works at a global design firm, HKS Architects, and is pursuing an MBA degree to expand his range of knowledge in the business field further. He chose UTD because of the values it offers, such as diversified and inclusive culture, small classroom sizes, extraordinary education, high rankings, affordable program cost, and significant networking opportunities, just a few to mention. Amir enjoys creative arts, flying drones, playing chess and traveling.Email Amir
